Ark: Survival Ascended – Scorched Earth is Now Available

After a series of delays, ARK: Survival Ascended has unveiled its latest expansion, Scorched Earth Ascended, transporting players to an arid desert environment ripe for exploration. Alongside the announcement, a captivating launch trailer has been released, enticing players with glimpses of the desert's mysteries and perils.
In this harsh landscape, players will traverse through a variety of biomes, ranging from vast sandy dunes and lush oases, to ancient ruins and mysterious caves. The expansion introduces a significant survival element - the struggle to find water in this parched terrain, compounded by natural hazards such as sandstorms and the risk of overheating.
Among the novelties are a plethora of creatures waiting to be domesticated, including the formidable Fasolasuchus, and the lurking terror beneath the sands, the Death Worm. Players can engage in crafting over 50 new items that will aid their survival and exploration, including gear that can withstand the intense heat, along with whips, boomerangs, chainsaws, and even wind turbines and oil refineries to enhance their bases.
At the pinnacle of this expansion is the fearsome apex predator, the Manticore, challenging players to a formidable battle. Studio Wildcard has placed a temporary restriction wherein only player characters can be transferred to Scorched Earth for the initial 60 days following release. This period emphasizes survival and adaptation before allowing the import of dinosaurs and items, signaling an all-out adventure once lifted.
