Today, Fall Guys is one of the most popular online battle royale games. In the year of release alone, over 2 million copies were sold. Such success is due not only to the exciting gameplay but also to the constant emergence of new content.
So, the developers regularly add crossovers to Fall Guys, which allow everyone to fight in battles in the skins of their favorite characters from other projects. One of the latest collaborations is with Sonic the Hedgehog. From August 11th to August 15th, players could purchase skins of five leading characters: Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, Super Sonic, and the main character itself.
Such campaigns always arouse great interest among fans, but there is a problem — they are short-term, so not everyone can enjoy bonus skins. The Fall Guys creators decided to rectify the situation by returning one of the past crossovers, DOOM, to the game. Thus, users who missed content from the cult shooter got a chance to purchase it. True, the items were available again only for a few days, from August 18th to August 22nd.
The collaboration was first presented in 2021. Then players got access to skins from the latest franchise installment, DOOM Eternal. The collection included the Slayer, the Cyberdemon, and the Cacodemon. They could be purchased with Crowns, the premium currency. Now they were available for Show-Bucks. As with other items, DOOM skins were more expensive individually than bundled: 1200 vs. 1800. So, if the Fall Guys developers continue to delight us with the return of our favorite crossovers, it’s worth considering how to save the required amount.
Please tell us in the comments which crossovers you are waiting for. And did you like the idea of bringing past events back into the game.
