Redfall Still Hasn’t Received Hero Pass Characters Nearly 1 Year After Launch

As the first anniversary of Arkane Austin's Redfall passed on May 2nd, the game, despite updates, continues to disappoint. Particularly concerning for fans is the absence of additional characters that were promised with the Hero Pass. This pass, part of the $100 Bite Back Edition, which remains fully priced, not only included the main game but also promised extra outfits, weapon skins, attachments, and two future DLC characters.

The latest communication from Arkane regarding Redfall arrived last November, with a vague update stating that more information about new heroes and other enhancements would be provided in 2024. As we approach mid-year, there has been silence on these updates, increasing frustration among players. There is speculation that Microsoft might reveal more during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th, potentially even releasing the updates unexpectedly.

As players continue to wait, the lack of communication and fulfillment of promises keeps the community uneasy about the future of the game.
