Wild Hearts on PC Receive Performance Update This Week

Wild Hearts, the new Monster Hunter-like co-op action game, has been receiving a warm welcome from fans. Although the gameplay has impressed players, unfortunately, it also has some serious technical issues - especially on PC. Now, Electronic Arts has confirmed a fix for the PC performance issues that should be released this week.

Wild Hearts' performance issues on PC became apparent immediately after the game launched in Early Access. The game received a trial as part of the EA Play subscription benefits, which unlocked the game a few days ahead of launch. Stuttering issues, crashes, audio glitches, and an inability to fully utilize the players’ CPU were among the consistent problems.

On February 16th, Electronic Arts released an official statement acknowledging the ongoing issues with Wild Hearts' PC performance. The statement listed issues that Omega Force already had fixes for and promised the release of a patch this week. The update from Electronic Arts also provided a potential solution for the PC performance issue. It suggested that players switch their "Output Settings" to 7.1ch/5.1ch in the audio settings. While this fix doesn’t guarantee an improved performance, it might help some players experience a better Wild Hearts experience while they wait for the patch.

The patch should allow Wild Hearts to run “comfortably”; however, it is not expected to make the game perfectly polished. Additionally, EA has reassured the players that Omega Force is dedicated to further improving Wild Hearts, with the release of monthly content patches starting in March.

In conclusion, Wild Hearts has become a fan favorite thanks to its Monster Hunter-style cooperative action game. Unfortunately, the game does not work the best on PC. The developers of Omega Force are working hard to fix the situation, and a patch is scheduled to be released this week that should improve performance on PC. Players can also expect monthly patches starting in March. The patch, which will be released this week, will help PC players fully enjoy Wild Hearts.
