Knowledge is an indicator of how many different spells your Wizard or Cleric can use, and you can check it at the bottom of the screen. It is true that each spell tree has up to five spell slots, but the limit of your knowledge determines which will be available to you during your dungeon expedition.
To memorize a spell, the knowledge required must be equal to its level. For example, if you want to memorize a second-level spell, it requires 2 knowledge. Knowledge is allocated according to the order in which spells are added to the intended tree. The unavailable ones can be easily identified, and they will be grayed out.
In addition, you must remember that each spell can only be cast a certain number of times. The remaining number of times will be shown to you as a number. The meditation skill is extremely useful for the wizard, which allows you to regenerate charges partially.
